A disk I/O error usually means data cannot be written to the hard disk. Either software that has been installed has
prevented the write operation or the hard disk itself is corrupted.
To recover from a Disk I/O error you need to repair the corrupted sectors. There are several waysto do it,
including running "chkdsk" however this sometimes results infurther corruption.
