The Mechanic Demo download process now includes, creation of the required boot disk. Please have a blank disk handy and follow the steps below. If you do not wish to create a boot disk, skip to Step #3.

STEP #1: Close all Windows on your desktop and quit all other applications.

STEP #2: Put a blank diskette into your floppy drive.

STEP #3: Press The Link below to create your boot disk. Save it to your hard drive and press ‘Open’ or ‘Run’ when the save is complete.

When it is finish creating the boot disk move to Step #2

STEP #1: Press The Link below to optimize your boot disk. Save it to your hard drive and press ‘Open’ or ‘Run’ when the save is complete.

When it is finished you will see the word ‘EXIT’ simply close the windows if it does not close automatically.

Cleanup.

STEP #3: Press The Link below to download and The Mechanic Demo. Save it to your hard drive and press ‘Open’ or ‘Run’ when the save is complete. Extract, (unzip), all files to the Floppy diskette, usually (A:).

Once the copy is Complete you can remove the floppy and use this demo on any crashed PC with a Windows operating system.

Simply type HDMDEMO to start the program.
