You will notice the simplicity of the buttons; this is because we are working outside of the windows environment so the images have to be simple.

This is the menu for the version that repairs 95, 98 and ME. The Mechanic 2000, which repairs XP and 2000 is included in the download. That will have a different menu, but the look will be the same.

• The Diagnostics button checks out your hardware
• The IDE Utilities button looks at your file structure
• The File systems button performs the fix for the problems found
• The Rescue Disk creates a series of diskettes to reverse anything the Mechanic Does
• The SFP will simply Dump all of your files from one hard drive to another.

Note: This program requires an internal floppy drive to work, it will not work with a bootable CD.
