Dear Sir:
I have a Dell Dimension which I purchased a year and a half ago.
I recently started to get messages on the startup screen telling
me that my hard drive was about to fail. I called Dell, and they
shipped out a replacement hard drive. Of course Dell informs me
that it is my responsiblility to reload all original software
onto the new hard drive. I have over 6000 mp3 files, not to mention
countless digital images of our family on our hard drive. The
thought of trying to copy all this not to mention drivers and
patches which I have picked up over the course of a year and a
half was not appealing. Not to mention that I am not very adept
at working on computers in general. The biggest undertaking I
have attempted was installing a USB 2.0 card.
I bought Drive 2 Drive over the internet after reading a bit about
your company. I called your technical assistance line once and
got clear, concise answers to my questions.
Needless to say I am THRILLED with Drive 2 Drive. I was able to
copy my 60 GB hard drive in about half an hour. Talk about painless!!

I just wanted to send a note regarding your Drive2Drive software.
I am an IS Manager for a municipality in Massachusetts and have been
in the computer filed for 10 + Years. I have had to copy many
disks in my time but came upon a disk with several bad spots on the
disk. I already owned Norton Ghost and Power Quests Drive Copy,
which I have used on many occasions without issue but for some reason
these products would not copy this drive. As a last resort I
ventured back to a computer store looking for another copy program.

There is never enough time for tech nerds to take care of all the
problems they are assigned . I am in charge of several
computers running OEM software on windows 95/98 platforms. I have
been looking for a way to easy way to copy the hard
drive pending hard drive failure. d2d is fast and easy to
use and does exactly what I need especially for
copying the hidden files , the registry files and making a
working hard drive to boot up with.
So I am running a OEM software to control building access
for a TV station in San Francisco CA. Just before I went home for
the night I decided to change the clock battery in the security
computer . A simple enough job. Except the computer would not come
back life. DOA . I changed the power supply still no go. What
to do?
No building security, no alarms and no back up.(my fault ) I rushed
out and bought a clone and took the hard drive from the dead
computer and made it the slave. And then cloned the slave
on the new master drive. In ten minutes I had the computer up and
running. I saved all the name files and history files. Because d2d
is so easy to use and worked like a charm from inside widows
, while windows was running . Neat little product. thanks for saving
me hours of work.
